“Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” (Matthew 19:14, NIV)

Children’s prayers are often adorable, honest, and full of trust. Here are a few that might inspire your own prayer life:

“Dear God, Please send a new baby for Mommy. The new baby you sent last week cries too much.” — Debbie, 7

“My sister and I want to know. Who did You make smarter? Boys or girls?” — Jimmy, 6

“Dear God, Thank You for the nice day today. You even fooled the TV weather man.” — Hank, 7

Many of us feel uneasy praying in front of others, worried we might not say the “right” words or follow the “proper” order. But here’s the good news: the only audience that truly matters is our Heavenly Father! He already knows our thoughts and our hearts. Prayer isn’t about perfection—it's about connecting with God honestly and earnestly.

Think of prayer as a heart-to-heart conversation with your loving Father. Whether in quiet moments alone or in front of others, keep your relationship with Him fresh through simple, sincere prayers. When you pray with childlike faith, your heart will be renewed and your spirit uplifted.

So, next time you pray, remember: God loves to hear from His children. Just come as you are, with trust and a humble heart.

“I Can Do All Things Through Christ Who Gives Me Strength.” - Philippians 4:13

The Bible tells us that we "all have sinned and fallen short of the God's glory" (Romans 3:23). The good news is: that's not the end of the story. God's only son, Jesus, was sent to our world to die for our sins (Romans 5:8; 1 Peter 2:24). All we have to do is believe in Him and we will have eternal life (John 3:16). If you want to know more about about Jesus and how He can change your life, let us know how we can encourage and pray for you.
